I come back to this filament a lot, for printing scale models, 1/100 mostly. It performs very reliably and gives good detail even with a 0.4mm nozzle. I recently tried a PLA+ from Sunlu, which worked well, but surprisingly not quite as good resolution as the AMZ3D. Great value for money.

Good value and a good product.

Really poor quality PLA. Tangles from the start, and lots of spaghetti made even after going through all the suggested temps with my Cr10s. Had better results with the sunlu stuff.

I have printed several rolls of Amz3d pla and would be my go to brand..prints well, diameter is good and overall is a good product.

Mediocre at best. I wanted to like this as when I first bought two 1kg rolls of it, it was 14:99. It's now 19:99 and I can say, it's not worth it, not by a long shot.

The biggest concern with this filament, is the lack of dimensional accuracy to the diameter of the filament, it varied widely from the tolerances given. I print a lot with PLA's and PTEGs, and I have had less issues printing PTEG than this particualr PLA. The fact that diameter of the filament varies a great deal means you will find your self wasting a lot of filament by having to cancel prints because of clogs, over and under extrusion.

The nxt issue I had was layer adhesion, or lack of it. Now I know you'll think its down to me not levelling the bed or knowing what I'm doing. However, the beds of my printers are all level and also have autolevelling on them to account for any variations in the print surface. I found this amz3d filamnet to be prone to delamination, More so than anything else I'v e used.

I cannot recommend this filament I'm afraid

I do a LOT of printing from a farm of 10 machines. I tend to stick to one supplier but figured I'd give this PLA a try given the price and the remarkable resemblance of the reel to Hatchbox PLA which I know to be good quality. I used my standard Hatchbox PLA settings for the first print and was surprised to see a lot of under-extrusion. Out with the calipers and whilst the consistency of the diameter on the reel is very good, it was consistently 1.7 not 1.75. I tweaked the filament diameter in Simplify3D and the following prints were pretty good. I printed at 200 degrees but I think 195 is probably more suited.
