Welcome to D Printer Filament

PLA(Polylactic acid) is a environmentally friendly materials that can easy to be degradated and without smell. It is thermoplastic aliphatic polyester made of renewable resources like corn or starch. Its extrusion-temperature is much lower than ABS, and most often doesn't require a heated bed. It is the " default " recommended material for many desktop D printers. It has the following characteristics:

)Good toughness high strength, high stiffness
)No block nozzle, good stick hot bed, a smooth PLA used
)Low shrinkage, thermoforming dimensional stability
4)Accurate diameter: .5mm, variations + /-0.05mm, roundness +/-0.0mm

Frequently asked questions

) Filaments do not extrude properly?
A: Check the running extruder temperature is match with the temperature of the filament extrusion needed. If not, keep trying to set a appropriate temperature.

) How do I store my filament?
A: Sealing the filament in a dry storage can effectively prevent it brittle and crack cased by absorbing moisture from the air for a long term.

) Is your filament tangled?
A: Check the spool is installed correctly.

Have had really good results with this filament, good diameter of 1.74mm pretty much all the way through the reel. Print temp of 205 and using 0.1 layer height for detail has given really good results. Colour is a little washed once printed, but still a nice red. Have bought again, for a cheaper filament its very good quality.
