This mandrel is not as pictured, so it does not have the quick release function, as long as you have pump pliers to loosen this then you will have no problems.

This was to go with the 95mm holesaw I bought and must say it is very good sturdy piece so much better than the one in a cheap set I bought a while ago. Irwin do produce some really reliable tools.

Mandrel appeared good quality but on second use cutting a hole in a plastic box the drill bit bent!! Been using holesaws for over 35 years and this is the first time I've experienced such a soft drill bit. Need to buy a new drill bit now!
